Sennheiser Momentum Sport

Very good sound and noise cancelling plus useful vitals tracking, but a premium price and slightly flat bass compared with other Sennheiser buds.

Comfortable, secure workout earbuds with very good sound and noise cancelling plus heart rate and temperature sensing.

Premium sports earbuds with deep, powerful sound, secure fit and built-in heart-rate and temperature sensing, though costly with noise cancelling that is not class-leading.

Comfortable, great-sounding earbuds that track heart rate and temperature with an excellent app, a worthwhile buy for fitness fans though no wrist-wearable replacement.

Combines excellent sound with in-ear health tracking and plenty of personalization, but is expensive and has average battery and overly sensitive touch controls.

The best choice if you want biometrics in your earbuds, but expensive, and cheaper workout earbuds can match or beat it on sound, noise cancelling and battery.

Excellent biometric tracking and a better design than the Momentum 4, but uneven sound, annoying controls triggered by chewing and a high price keep them from being a go-to pair.

Great fit, customisation and clear sound, but pricey and not top-tier in sound or noise cancelling.

Stay-put sports earbuds with good durability and big, customisable sound, but the fitness sensing is not groundbreaking and needs Polar's app for full benefit.

Good sound but large buds that were uncomfortable and fiddly, with fitness features that need a phone and a price that is too high.

Fitness earbuds that stay put and deliver heart rate tracking close to a chest strap while sounding good.

Decent sound and good noise cancelling with a convenient heart rate sensor, but the readings can drop out, runners are poorly served and the price is steep.

Reliable heart rate and temperature sensing in a comfortable design, but inconsistent sound and a flimsy case make the price hard to justify.
