What do critics say about the Hoka Bondi 9?
Run to the Finish89
A comfortable, stable and smoother max cushion trainer that revives the Bondi, though it is a big shoe unsuited to speedwork.
RunningShoesGuru80
A good max-cushioned trainer for easy and recovery runs with a firm, supportive ride.
OutdoorGearLab59
Improved over the last version and supportive, but firm and clunky, with a cramped toe box and poor wet traction; better suited to casual wear or slow short runs than dedicated running.
The Size 15 Runner83est.
A big, softer and lighter update that makes the Bondi a great easy-day max cushion shoe, though it is slightly overpriced and not for fast running.
Trail & Kale83est.
A plush, stable max-cushion trainer that suits easy miles, recovery runs and long days on foot.
